I have a 2007 H3 and I'm looking to install a radio shack window mount pass through CB Antenna on my side rear window. I would like to know if the rear side window is plastic tint on top of the glass or something else. Because the mounting instructions say to cut out a piece of the tint if it just your standard tint job.

I am not 100% but I think the glass itself is tinted, not a plastic cover like aftermarket. BTW, go to the new members section and introduce yourself!

LHB is right. You shouldn’t have any problems.

I used to work for a company that did all sorts of comm gear for business and public safety.
We never had to cut squat on "factory tinted" rear glass.
Now if it were a reflective/metal based tint, you would be screwed.
Just make sure you prep the inside and outside of the glass thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion.
