Default tint

Hey guys, just the other day i got pulled over and got a ticket for my tints, which were factory installed i believe. I wanted to know where i should file a complaint (either dealer or actual GM Reps.) and by anychance does anyone know what percentage the H2 is?..cause my other car is at 35% and i have never been stopped.

My H2 didnt come with tint.. If you can see where the tint ends at the top of the windows, its not factory.. If your front drivers door and pass. door has tint, its not factory..

Did you buy your H2 new? If it is used, it might have after-market tints installed. You could probably check with your dealer to see if they were tinted previously.

i bought the car brand new in 2004 with the tints already on (its really subtle on the front 2 windows and noticable on the rear passegeners and back window) . I dont see where the film ends, so i assume it is intergrated with the glass itself. And there are markings that says GM DOT...., i'll contact my dealer and see whats up

i do not know the name of the instrument used but they did use a device to determine the darkness of the tint, took a few minutes or so.

Hard to fight that.

I know Sewell Hummer quit putting the limo tint on the front windows for that
exact reason. I had it on my '06 and never had any problems with L.E.O.'s
and wish I had it on my '07....That is till I get a ticket....

They shouldn't be able to give you a ticket for the rear windows, they are from the factory. The front two window have a very light factory tint on them, so if you have window film on those you don't have much of an argument.

The rear windows aren't any more than any other SUV, extended cab truck or Minivan running around has
