Hi I have been going nuts over this problem I have checked everywhere for help but I am still drawing a blank.
I have recently brought a H2 and the engine was really dirty so I decided to jet wash off the engine so after 10 minuets of jet washing I left it to dry off and the tried to start her which she did fine but then I noticed that when I reved the engine all of the dials and digital display just went blank showed zero then all of a sudden the started working again so I reved it again and it did the same I have also noticed that if I start the engine and open and close the door it does the dials do the same thing.

Please help

 

I would check all the grounds, sounds like a ground issue since opening and closing the doors probably jiggles something to make the connection. Check all the chassis grounds and engine compartment grounds.
