I need help with my H1. The T/C green light does not come on when I put it in HL or L. This means to me that it is not locking the diff. in. So to check it out I put in HL on the street to see if it would bind up some as I turned the rig in a circle and it went way to smooth. Most 4x4's will buck at that move, any ideas on things to check out?

 

Tranny in neutral, pull TC lever hard to the L. There should be a clunk. Light should come on at the point. Is that what you are doing?

 

Thanks for getting back to me. I believe the case is going into L or at least it is in low range, the light is just not going on. I had some one send me a diagram of t/c case with the location of the t/c lock-indicator switch so that will be my next step. I hope that will be the fix?
