Has anyone done just a strait sub swap in the h3? I have the monsoon system and have just been wanting to switch out the 8 inch sub. i know it needs to be a dvc sub with a relatively low air space and power requirements. I have many subs in mind but was wondering if anyone had actually done it and if they were happy or let down by the change. Thanks guys

 

Do a search on here, I cant remember if it was here or one of the other hummer forums. But I saw a thread where a guy found a sub that was a perfect fit and claimed it sounded good. It is a shallower depth sub for sure. Good luck.

Np, you should search most everything first as near everything has been discussed here.

 

I can't remember which one I got, but I had to get a shallow mount since the first one I got was too deep to fit.

 

I got the Rockford Fosgate P3SD2-8 from Amazon.
