2005 H2...I have kept it all stock except replacing the shocks a couple of times. It has been my daily driver in Baja for the last 3 and a half years...needless to say, it has taken a beating. It has about 98,000 miles on it so I am about to do the major service. I would like to also do some suspension upgrades as well. I have thought about doing a total pre-runner job on it...but that can get VERY expensive. Right now it is acting pretty loose with lots of rattles etc. I would like to tighten everything up and mabye even soften the ride a little. I don't necessarily want to lift it, just improve it.
Any advice would be appreciated!

 

There's no real secrets to the suspension...Shocks and springs or airbags. I'd bet alot of that loose feeling you have are steering components worn out.

 

i posted up the mods of my upgrade-- best thing i ever did-- FRONT fabtech dual shocks with towers and fabtech rears... amazing ride-- and corners well too!!!

 

i also changed out the tie rods and ball joints just because and the steering arm joint-- all nice and tight!!!
