Thanks wylee! Good for you to be innovative. So how are the power gains? How does it pull? Would love to know the distributor you got it from. PM if you want. Thanks.

I bought the kit from DBR Performance in TN. Since I did not dyno mine before the install, I cant be sure of actual gains, but judging from what I have read, I figure I picked up 80-90 RWHP.
It feels like a sports car now, when you hit the throttle, this thing rips. And under normal driving I picked up 3-4 MPG. I also installed a 3 inch cat back and removed the back 2 cats, installed a 160 degree thermostat, and Im not using the K&N drop in air cleaner that came with the kit, I prefer the added filtering from the stock paper elements. If I can help in any way let me know.

Do you have a link for that 160* thermostat? Is it a true 160* too?

Doesn't the Colorado have the same I5 as the Non -Alphas?

How does that kit match a 5.3L V-8 manifold? I'm soooo confused

The Colorado was offered with the 5.3 from 09-12. It is the same platform as the Alpha. It match's up perfect with that. Here it is.

I really like you now. Now I must too buy the Kit lol

So what doesn't work in the kit? Just tuning? Any chance you'd post larger pictures? Thanks for spending my money!

Everything in the kit fits the Hummer H3, you just need to have it dyne tuned or have one of the shops send you a tune, Magnuson will not tune it. You follow the instructions that come with the kit and its all the same. You will need to buy a MAP sensor for the Chevy Colorado as the Hummer MAP will not fit.
2009 and up Alpha's may have the correct MAP sensor, mine is a 08 and the hole in the supplied manifold with the kit was too large for a leak free fit. Its no big deal, it still plugs in the same to the harness.
