Tranny services, diff services & transfer cases are important to. I prefer Royal purple full synthetics for all of my fluids in these. Also yes the brake fluid too is important to flush periodically as yes it can & does attract moisture which can cause corrosion.. J

Update: They had to keep it overnight because they found a front seal leaking. He showed it to me and it is on a stabilizer bar at the very bottom. Only the dealer has the seal and they should get it tomorrow. I'll post the final totals after I pick it up for others who may be interested.

So I picked up the H2 today and I thought I would post the final bill in case others are interesed.

Total with tax was $1315.00

The following is what was included for the price:
  • changed spark plugs and wires.
  • changed transmission filter and fluid
  • changed both differential fluids
  • changed transfer case fluid
  • flushed radiator
  • changed both serpentine belts
  • replaced right CV axle seal
  • replaced brake fluid and bled system
Hopefully this will keep me good for a while. Have to take care of it since I can't replace it with a new one!!!

You are correct. NOT a dealer. But they had to get the seal from the dealer. I don't have any objections to letting the dealer do any of my work, but the closest Hummer dealer to me is about 30 miles away and it's not convenient.

Good to see you give your H2 some love.. Those are wise services to do.. They will help keep it happy longer.. I do the same services to my vehicles regularly.. Jamie
