Smile Sub and Amp pictures?

I've done a lot of searching, and I've gotten a lot of info about sub installs. I have also seen a few pictures of custom boxes (built into tailgate).

Anyways, does anyone have pictures of their install?

I'm thinking about doing a more standard install - and I'm trying to decide where to mount the amp - under a seat, in the DS storage compartment, etc.

Also looking for a pic of the stock Monsoon setup. I understand that buying the monsoon trim panel is also an option for a sub install...

TIA!

I think packing both amps vertically in the factory sub area would be a killer idea! You could use the factory vent or cut it out and go plexi for good looks and easy access! I have an amp mounted under both front seats but its a tight fit. Plus there is a heater vent on both sides that does not help when you have things cranked up and its cold outside! On the upside you can cool them off by just turning on the AC.

I am old school when it comes to sub boxes. I like the ability to move it around or pull it out if I need to haul stuff. Below is a pic of the head unit and GPS, i gotta pull the seats to get you pics of the amps so it will be a day or so before i can get them up. Good luck. let us know what you end up doing!

Wow - I've seen your setup on this forum a few times - it's very impressive!!

I would hate to find out that you pulled the seats for some pics - just knowing that an amp will fit is info enough for me!

I feel the same about sub installs. As much as I'd like to sink it into the side (like the factory deal) I'd almost rather just toss a box in the back and move it when needed.

There are definitely a ton of options, and I'm going to start messing around with it this weekend after I toss in some tune-up items.

Thanks!
