Does anyone know what the sensor is called that controls the shifter when you press on the brake. My shifter is stuck in park and I have to push the silver button inside the shifter to release. I don't know if that sensor is the problem or if something else. It's on 06 H3.

 

i disabled that buttom by pulling the spring off and taping the button in. end of problem. kinda nice to be able to shift with like a dead batt and you're on the rr tracks huh!.

i just like it like it was in the old days,and ez to move w/o keys etc
