Man, I wish they could do an entire made-for-TV movie about you. I wish they had time to mention more of what you've been through. I think they just touched the tip of the iceberg, and they didn't even mention your ironman training. At least you got something! I hope you make it man. It's pretty amazing what you've been through.

You would consider a one paragraph "letter to the editor" with a photo a feature? Oh, and they pretty much advised him not to break his arm patting himself on the back, too.

 

I talk to him all the time and am friends with him. If you want to make assumptions about his integrity, get to know him before you judge him.

 

Featured more than you and I were. Besides, the guy's looking forsponsorship...I've been down that road. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Businesses dont go around scouting inspiring stories. Plus he can now go to other businesses and say "My story was mentioned in March 2008 Maxim". Unfortunately Maxim is acynical audience so he wont get much supportfrom them ormuch more of a reaction from its readers other than "ROTFL! OMFG! P3n'd by a truck!!1!!11" but it will help him get bigger press elsewhere by brand recognition.
I'll wish him luck if he's still around these boards.
