hi all

i have a new h3 2008 basic, with 1500km only,,,i have the stock goodyear tires but i move my hands on the outer surface of the tires i feel its un even wavy..... is this normal(i hvnt been ofroad until now)..... is it normal???? or do i need to check with the dealership,,,is it under warranty????

Some wave in the surface can be normal. Can you get a photo of it?

 

check your tire pressure and thats normal.The center is higher than the edges.
Thats why is recommends 30psi to get the tire flat.

 

I've got the same wavyness on the outer tread on my front tires too. I keep my tire pressure at approx 33 - 34psi cold. Maybe I should lower the pressure to 30psi?? 30psi just seems awful low, and I cannot believe that is what the GM spec says inside the door.

 

If its a problem you will feel a slight vibration normllly at quitehigh speeds If there is no vibration I would not worry about it.
