Stock Fog Light Wiring:
Will the stock Driving Light/Fog Light wiring handle a set of 55watt Pro Comp driving lights? The previous owner apparently had an off road shop install the KC Lights and the wiring is horrible. The lights work, but the wiring is so poor I'm afraid to use them lol. I found the OEM pigtails for the OEM Driving/Fog Lights and was thinking of just wiring them into that harness and remove all the junk routed and installed under the hood by the battery.
I did the same thing on a Ford F150 and the stock wiring had no issues running a set of aftermarket lights vs the OEM fog lights, but every vehicle is different and before I did it I just wanted to check here. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I would personally only use the switch portion of the OEM system to switch a relay that is wired directly to the battery (fused of course) or separate power block.
The OEM BCM can be a little touchy when it come to voltage drops.

Yeah I planned on swapping out the KC's for a pair of Pro Comp 9inch lights which use an H11 bulb and only draw 4-5amps per bulb vs the KC's and their H3 bulb that draws more amps.
Guess I will just gut what the previous owner had installed (the fire hazard) and start over. Thanks for the quick reply.
