Still good?
Greetings, my fellow drivers.
First timer here and also still quite a learner about cars.
Anyway, the H1 has been one of my favourite things since I was very very little (it's always been Ferraris+Hummer H1). Unfortunately, they were discontinued before I was even legally allowed to drive, let alone being able to afford it.
However, I'll probably be able to buy one soon (though, complex situations and all that). Will try to do my best to find a good H1 Alpha when the time comes.
Though, I was wondering, for a... car.. truck... thing... designed over 20 years ago and with the last model produced 9 years ago, how well does it fare compared to modern, SUVs?
I've always found it amazing how the H1 just brute forces its way through any terrain, it seems so mechanically strong, and much heavier (for better and worse), than its competition.
But compared to the new Range Rovers, Wranglers, Raptors, etc. is it still the legend that it used to be?
Also, since it would be 9 years old already (again, the Alpha), are there still enough parts available to make it run like new (if you dump enough money into it)?
Regards,

Regards,
H1 Alpha is a good choice. It is the latest model and comes with the Duramax Turbo Diesel , Allison 5 speed tranny, bigger brakes, etc... plus an updated interior.
If you're serious about buying an H1, do take one for a test drive though. It's not for everyone.
