Steering Wheel controls buttons
I have a 2005 H2 Hummer and I added new OEM GM steering wheel controls buttons on the steering wheel, the back lights were burned out from some time from the old ones, but the control units still work, so I added new ones thinking that the back lights would work, but no they did not. all 4 did not light up as they were suppose to but everything inside the Hummer back lights work fine no issues, just the steering control buttons don't light up even with the new ones. I took the vehicle to a GM dealer and they said I might have to install a new harness that goes to the sheering wheel something called a Clock spring because there is a timer control that might have burned out that controls the back lights for the steering wheel control buttons what ever they were talking about I have no ideal, that may have something to do with the back lights not lighting up at night on the steering wheel. well anyway does anyone have an ideal what the problem is? Thank you

A fellow hummer told me that there is a 2 amp fuse that is blown that control the back lighting for the the steering wheel control buttons suppose to be in the I/P Relay Block but does not remember which block because he sold his hummer a while back, does anyone know what he might be talking about? because the smallest fuse I see so far is a 10 amp, but I have no ideal where this 2 amp fuse is located could use some help here, thank you
