If I replace the factory stereo with another one, can I still use the steering wheel controls? If so, which stereo are you using? Is it dvd with screen? Or should I just stay with my factory 6 disk player. I like using the controls on the wheel so its important to me but I need a new unit. The buttons on the factory unit are peeling and its starting to look bad.

 

You can use the steering wheel controls with MOST aftermarket set-ups, but you need an interface.

I have the Eclipse AVN2454 and I use the PAC SWI-X. Works Awesome!!
