H1 starts up great most of the time. Recently a few days ago there was a lag in starting when I turned the ignition. Half a second and then it started. Today I started it up went to a meeting and then when I turned the key, there was nothing, no sound like a click, starter not engaging. Then after twenty times of on and off it started right up. I have been able to start it up 3 times so far no issues.

I know it could be solenoid, ground wire, something in the ignition with the key slot and or a dead spot in the starter. If anyone has had this please reply.

when bushings in starter start to go it will cause a lag in starting. solenoid gone bad, not kicking in. check this by taking starter off and tested at autozone or advanced
