We're thinking about putting a stainless hood grille w/handles on our H3 and I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation of the best quality brand to buy. I'd prefer to replace the black stock grille instead of just putting on an overlay.

I was thinking about the stainless version some time ago and finally spend the more money for a billet aluminum version...
Stainless - it is just a metal shim and you see from far that it is just a cover.
Billet alu - The material is thicker and so it gives a more solid impression...

 

What brand did you get? I assume it isn't an overlay. Does it mount with 3M tape or bolt through? Thanks.

A massive piece of billet aluminum bolt through the hood (uses the original slot holes what are already in the hood)!

As my plastic part was blown away in the car wash, it was a must for me to bolt the new one down!
The three bolts in the front caused some head ache...they are exactly where the hood seal runs and not really access...a second metall sheet is in the way....I took a ring saw 20mm and cut the access.

I will try to post some pictures soon. I did some more modifications and anyway wanted to present the actual stage...
