I was messing around doing other things today and decided to pull the rear tail gate cover off.

As I was snooping around I discovered that there is very little sound proofing back there, so I used a can of 3m sound deadener to coat the inside of the tail gate.

It makes quit a difference by cutting down interior noise. Its an easy job that I highly recommend everyone do.

I also noticed that since this is a Southern truck, the underside of the floor has no protection either, allowing unwanted noises so that's next.
