Default speaker problems

hello
i just got my hummer back from the mechanics wh replaced the pump for the brakes and steering and realized as i was driving it home that the speakers ,which are Bose , don't work . No sound comes out of them but the radio display works fine . i can change radio stations or operate the cd player but no sound comes out of the speakers . i would rather not take it back to mechanic if its a simple thing that i can fix myself so if anyone has any suggestions or thoughts on this matter it would be greatly appreciated .
thank you very much.

I would assume that he had to just unplug something. If you do it yourself, I would at least call him. He may know how to tell you exactly where the plug is without you hunting. It would be a pain to disassemble the whole radio console to find a plug right by the fuse box or something.

The amp fuse is under the hood by the batter it is labeled radio/amp on the plastic fuse cover fuse map. Likely it is just a loose plug I had a similar issue recently and I didn't have the time to take everything apart during the week. I tried a lot of stuff including disconnecting the battery and doing the BCM reset. A few days later I just hit the volume button on a whim and everything has been working fine since.
