Default Spark Plug Replacement 5.3 L V8

I am approaching that point that the plugs need to be replaced.

I can find videos, step by steps for the I5 engine, but none for the Alpha.

Anyone know where I can find this, so I can see if I can do this myself?

Thanks.

I don't have a video, but I have replaced plugs on a few Sierra and Silverado V8's. it's relatively easy. Space might be tight on the H3's. I usually end up replacing the wires at the same time because the wires either break or half the boot gets stuck on the plug.

It's just a 5,3L GM small block with cool packs, short plug wires and plugs. Pretty easy.
#7 & #8 are a little tight but it's pretty straight forward.

One thing to be careful of replacing the spark plugs, if you're a novice like me, one of them on mine had cracked and a small piece of ceramic fell inside the engine, I didn't realize until after i put the new ones in and started it that I heard it rattle around and come out. It scratched up my cylinder walls but I got lucky enough that it didn't cause a lot of damage. I tried to save money doing it myself and almost F'd my engine. Learn from my dumb mistake and double check the ones you remove are completely in tact before you start the truck lol. Good luck!
