Default Somethin wrong

Ok my buddy bought an h3 and the check engine light came on, tc light, reduced engine power. His electric fan stoped workin and his tvs in the head rest. What could it be the battery terminal being lose. We checked the code for the engine light it said an app sensor

Year and model will not only help getting a reply, it will make it any reply worth something as well.

If you pull a code, post the code itself with your question.

is this a h3 or h2? your first post said 3 the last one said 2. If it is a 2 then you are in the wrong forum.

Could it be because the battery terminal is loose

If you have looked around here by way of search, you may have noticed a bunch of posts from me telling people to hack off the POS OEM Battery Terminal Connectors and replace them with a high quality aftermarket set.

When you sat electric fan, I assume you mean climate control blower?? because H3s do not come stock with an efan for the radiator.

The 3 can go into reduced power mode for several reasons, one is that the input for fly by wire conflicts between the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) and PPS (accelerator Pedal Position Sensor). Either or both of those can go bad. If you had the code for the CEL, I might be able to give a better answer.

When your buddy says app sensor he is no doubt referring to the PPS which comes as an entire unit, accelerator pedal with sensor and is plug and play. That can get wet, corroded, have a loose connection, or just go bad.

A loose terminal and bad PPS do not explain your fan or TV issue, but electrical Gremlins can surface in crazy places?
