Subject: Clunk Or Knock Noise Heard And Felt Through The Steering Wheel Or Brake And Accelerator Pedals - keywords intermediate rattle shaft #PIT4448 - (06/27/2007)
Models: 2007 Hummer H3
Seriously, have you checked out our own forum for this topic? Use the link above under my other post. Or just go to the top of the H3 forum and you'll see it pinned there. There are pages and pages of talk on this. And you'll even see your bulletin from another website posted here in our forums--twice.

The clunking problem is frustrating. Many have it and there's no true fix. The fix in this bulletin doesn't work--trust me, I've tried it as have others.

The new intermediate shaft is not available yet. We have been instructed to replace those that come in with a new one but the problem will most likely continue. Better to wait until GM announces the new part before ordering a new one.

gp1182, really it doesn't matter to me what you read, say, do. I'm not a moderator, I don't control the direction here. But as we share experiences and feedback it would seem that you would want to read the thread started by dmb7280, not by me since, we're talking about the same stuff. So, gp1182, I apologize for sharing here in your thread that there there could be 11 other pages of these same questions and answers that might have helped you out. Pardon me for trying to help you, pardon my ignorance.

Steve,
That part number brings up nothing at GMPD. Are you sure of that number? Pls recheck? Any one know the exact term for the part?
