Yeah, I'm sure it would have only been a matter of time before someone offered to show you more than a few inches... LOL.

I'm only guessing that might have happened... but can neither confirm or deny anything... [sm=guilty.gif]

Of snow I mean.. yeah, that's it. [sm=grinangel.gif]

I don't get it shortbus, a dude says something about a couple inches and nothing....
A chick repeats it and all of a sudden its the hottest topic in the internet...we dont get no respect.
Good work though...enjoy your pool. I'll be out with my 24" that showed up a little late

probably because all the other dudes here are used to hearing comments about a couple inches . . . . . just not from this particular female . . . . .[8D]

I feel for ya Fireman - I'll think about you while I'm snuggled up on the couch watching a movie! [8D]

Seriously ... I do feel for you and I admire what you do! [sm=smiley20.gif]

Well, thank you. But it's just a job like anything else... someone has to do it.

Luckly the sleet finally died off in the late afteroon. No freezing tonight that I know of. It's actually been a pretty slow shift for us, so I can't complain. I was able to watch round 9 of the NFR, so I'm good. This morning the shift that was working had a house fire where 3 died... one of which was a 5 yo girl. [sm=boohoo.gif] We had a fatal fire a couple of weeks back where 3 also died, and again another little girl was one. The paramedics had revived her and her grandmother, but only the grandmother lived. We went from having only a handful of fire deaths this year, to nearly double in a very short time. [:@] Nothing to do but keep trying.

That's so sad - I just couldn't deal with it. It really takes a special person to be able to handle those things!!

There was a home that burnt down in a subdivision I once lived it. There were 3 people that lived in the home, the grandmother, granddaughter and a 1 yr old boy. When the house caught fire only the grandmother and child were home. When the fireman arrived it had really spread - I was holding this little boy in the freezing weather with only a diaper on, watching the house burn down. He was crying and the grandmother was hysterical because her dog was in the house. You could hear that poor pup crying and there was nothing they could do. It took me a long time to get over it and not think about that poor doggie!! Still gets to me!
