Default Snake in H3

Hi

Last night I found a Bull snake in my H3 and was wondering if there is an opening under the dash, or elsewhere, for a snake to get in? I live in the country and would hate to discover another one while I am driving.

Thanks
Michal

Are you serious about the tail pipe? And I have never left my doors or windows open. The only way in I can see is through the air vents.

This has to be one of the most unique posts I've seen in a while.

Thank goodness it wasn't a Copperhead or something worse.

No clue in how he slithered in.

It was terribly funny after it happenend and they call me "snake handler" at work now, but at the time I nearly had to go home to change my underwear I got such a fright. I had opened the driver's door, jumped into the seat and as I was about to close the door I saw the snake sitting right on the inside door handle! Had I not looked I would have grabbed it. Somehow I lept over the gear shift and flew out of the passenger door to get one of the staff and mobile male patients (I work in a drug and alcohol rehab) to come and get it out. It was only a young Bull Snake, but in the dim lights I could not tell what kind of snake it was and that is what gave me the shock. Now I check the front and back through the windows before getting in as I shudder to think how I would have reacted if the snake had made it's debut while I was driving.

Where I live I often had Bull Snakes in the house (until I got cats). I have had two at once in the kitchen, one poke it's head out of the bottom of the bathroom cabinet when I was sitting on the throne, and one in my purse (I felt the weight and movement before going off to town with a snake in my bag), but a snake in my Hummer takes the cake. And I also believe it was B ull snake as the venemous snakes are not long enough to be able to get into high spces, hence only having Bull snakes in the house too. I don't kill them as they are good for keeping the field mice under control.

Anyway, my H3 is due for a service soon so I will ask the mechanic where he thinks he could have got in.

Thanks for your empathy
Michal

I live near Stephenville out in a rural area with lots of snakes. I habe had two in the kitchen at once, one with a mice sticy rap stuck to hit's head, one poking it's out of from unter the cabinet under the sink while I was sitting on the toilet (the right venue for not having to change my underwear),a one one in mty purse (althought I felt the weight and movement before going out shoppin witih it). But a snake in my vehicle took the cake;and sitting right on the inside door handle!. I would have taken a pic except that we were all pannicking and could not see what kind of snake i was in the dim lights. I pray another doesn't appear while I am driving as I would be hysterical and driving recklesly.

Yjanks for your response
Michal
