After leaning back-and-forth between Manik and OEM grill guards, I've settled on the SMA one. LOL

now thats funny!! Sounds like my decision making process....lmao

As far as the lights go, it all depends on what your budget is. If you want the best, there are HID off-road lights that go for $6-800 a pair...but good lord are they bright!! I've had all of em at one time or another, whats your price range?

Around $200 more or less for kit. I think I'll also have to visit the dealer to pick up the OEM Hummer light switch to keep everything clean in the interior too.

Due to the super SMA sale at Teaka, there's plenty of cash left in the budget. My concern with going too high on the lights is that they'll likely vanish in some parking lot somewhere.

Does anyone have picture of yellow H3 with black SMA grill guard?
I just wonder what it would look like on my H3.

pick up the OEM switch

They do not have them for a h3 go to a automotive store and they have some nice ones that will fit in the little circle on the dash.
I said forget running wires threw the dash and hook it up to my highbeem swith.

Problem with running them off high beam is that you can never have all lights on at once as the fogs shut off on high beam. I know when I go driving up a mountain at 4 am for deer hunting I need all the light I can get and having the fogs shut off to use the off road lights is not an option. If you don't want to run wires through your firewall or just don't want to be bothered with wires at all they do make lights that turn on with a wireless remote kinda like a keyless entry remote, just velcro it to the dash or something.

well it's better than the redneck technology that my fathers side of the family uses, they would just take some old chewing gum and stick on the dash. Trust me, my uncle had a blind spot mirror held on with some big league chew for almost a month

The Manik was a little too much "Range Rover" for my taste. The OEM one was probably the best engineered/quality piece. The SMA just looks "Hummer cool" and has light tabs already welded in place.

For the driving lights, I'll see what my town's auto parts store has in stock. If nothing, I'll probably go KC or Hella.
