Yes I'm ok and so with the driver of the Honda. It was a double turn lane and we were both turning left, I was in the inside lane and she suppose to turn into her lane but instead she took my lane. Heck I almost didn't feel the impact.....lol

Thanks everyone for the information. It's the SMA guard for me too then.

I like it because of it's unique "Hummer" look and the fact that it has proven itselt in battle. Thanks Green for doing such a complete test!

Just placed the order. Thanks everone for the help!

In this case, my procrastination payed of big time too. The SMA H3 guard just went on sale today at Teaka so the cost is now down in the OEM / Manik price point range. They also told me that another outfit has bought out the SMA product line. This is good because spare parts will not be an issue in the future.

If you've been considering this piece too, now's the time to buy.

Okay, got back from vacation and the bar was sitting on the loading dock at work ready to go! Brought it home (had to tie the rear hatch closed because it wouldn't fit in the back, a good sign). Installed it last night in about 1/2 hour with the help of my two sons and it looks great!

No shim issues at all, just bolted it up and it's perfectly spaced.

There are two driving lamp tabs already welded on the bar, Great!

I'm thinking 6" lamps should look and work good. Any suggestions for the best brand and model lamp that I should consider? I want really bright.

Thanks.

The rep at Teakatoys told me that someone had purchased the product line and tooling but didn't tell me who. I was only after the grill guard so I didn't press him further.
