unfortunately by the time they get off their asses and fix us up all the good members will have moved to other forums.... going to be VERY hard to recover from this. Some forums never recover from problems like this.

im aware...and i make sure that folks at the company are aware of the number of complaints and issues.

i think that in their mind, its better to have some people get pissed off and leave, and hopefully they will come back, then to rush the upgrade, lose the posts or membership registry, or both...and have to go from nothing again..[&:]

well maybe some activity in the public forums from you or someone higher up informing our members of the progress would be helpful? Cause right now everyone in this room looks like an idiot with no answers

I agree just give the people an update and I think they would all understand and hang in there.

Most of the members think that as moderators we have a lot more power, authority and knowledge than we do about the site management. The main complaint, outside of the site not working correctly, is not knowing what is happening.

If everyone knew the fix was being studied and would be implemented in a way that would protect all of the data and restore the site they would be much more patient.

do you think that the newest announcement clears anything up? the problem is that im not permitted by the company to come out and announce the "fix".

it would help if the problems were consistant across the sites, or even across single sites..some members at some sites have had no problems. at some sites, i have no problems, but im having issues here.[:@]
