Default Side Marker removal

Whats up, i just got a pair of blacked out side marker lights (the ones in the front fenders). just wonder what's the easiest way to remove the olds, and install the new ones? should i just remove the grille and go through the front? or remove the fender wells, and go through from the bottom? i'll be sure and post pictures when i'm done.

thanks!

I wish I had the answer for you, I was thinking about doing the same thing on my H3, post pics when you get it done.

I got those same ones and went in through the wheel well. I had to take out almost all of the plastic retaining screws to fit my hand in to get the old one out. The hardest part was getting the liner to line up again and not have the retainers pop out as you're putting it back in. I love the blacked out side markers though. I always hated the little yellow ones. Good luck.

Sorry guys, took a week for me to actually get started, but i just finished. only took about 45 - 60 minutes. i went under the fender-well route. the pins were not too difficult to take out, it's that fender well that sucks to try to move out of the way. it actually looks pretty awesome. still working on blacking everything out. I was only able to upload 1 picture (with a file size small enough to attach). lemme know what you think.

Yes, i will be getting rid of those yellows (eventually). i'll be getting some LED's to replace them. I also want to either bed line the grille, or just buy a black one. im not a fan of chrome. but next on the list is HID headlights.
