Default Shuts off after it starts

So i got in my h1 this morning and it started just fine but when i put it in drive it stalled and would not start back up until i came back to it later on in the day. It started again and seemed fine for a while but then i shut it down and it wouldn't restart but I noticed the dome light went off when it wouldn't restart so it's definitely something electrical. PLEASE HELP!

Check your battery connections, also check the connection at the starter.

They were good at the battery, but I didn't check the starter. I tried it again this morning and it still wont start but all the other electronics are working in the truck except the dome lights. It tries to turn over, so the starter is spinning but it work start. What about the fuel pump? Is that tied to the same electronics as the dome light some how? The last time it started the dome light was working then I shut the truck off and the light was on and then went off while the door was still open so I tried to start again and it wouldn't start back up so it seems the issues are connected somehow. My truck has the gas motor.

Did you check for power at the fuel pump? It would not be tied to the dome light.

I cannot find the fuel pump on my truck. Mine has the gas motor in it. I have the service manual for a diesel but my fuel pump is not in the same position.
I did find the problem to the domelight it was just a fuse so it must've blown when I started having the problem with the fuel pump so maybe I have a short somewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Never had a gas H1. Might call Dave at Hummer Parts Guy | Genuine Hummer H1 Parts and Accessories. I am sure he can help you locate the lift pump.
