Default Should I be concerned?

Hello,
Bought a 2006 H3 with 45000 miles on it over the weekend and love it. I just read online about a problem with the engine head that some 2006 H3s had, but it seemed it happened in the first 20 thousand miles or so. I checked the Vin number and it is in the range that was supposed to be at risk.
Seeing how this H3 is running fine, does not use any oil, and has had no problems should I be thinking of trading it off all ready? I would hate to cause I like it so much.

I bought my 06' last Novemeber and didn't know about the head trouble untill months after. I now have 43k on it and it runs great. I since had checked with the dealer if the head had been done before and it wasn't. There is nothing you can really do right now but enjoy the truck. Remember not all of them have the trouble so why worry, I'm not.
Good luck
Mark

Ours went at 15K and it was replaced under warranty. We've done almost 60k trouble free miles since. My guess is that you are home free.

I have nearly 70,000 miles on my '06 H3. There have been no issues with the engine at this point.

Thanks for the replies. Today I took it into a GM dealer, they found a blown fuse and got my DVD players up and going. I asked about the engine and they told me the same thing, that I should be fine at this point. Again thank you,
