Bought an 05 H2 a few months ago with 150,000 miles. Transmission has been replaced and the previous owner had used a local shop for oil changes etc. The H2 is running great, but I want to get a full servicing to check everything. I called the local dealership today and the lady was very vague after I told her the milage and what I wanted to do. At first she said she would do a servicing similar to a 100,000 mile servicing, then mentioned it could cost up to $1200 depending on what needed to be done. I tried to clarify what the servicing would cost minus the obvious repairs if needed and she finally said a full inspection would be $100 to look the vehicle over. I didn't have time to call back another service rep today, but she seemed unsure. Who has had a full servicing near 150,K and what did it run?

 

Replace all the drivetrain fluids with Synthetic oil, flush the radiator, Flush the brake fluid, have the front end aligned and the wheel bearing hubs and steering parts inspected, replace air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, radiator hoses,get the brake pads inspected. If you do not know the history of whats been done to your truck you might want to replace the 02 sensors and fuel pump if they have never been changed. Buy quality parts like Delphi.
You should be fine once that is all done. There is no reason you can't put another 150k on your rig.

 

Thanks for the advice. I ended up talking to the service advisor today who serviced my first H2. He's a straight forward guy who is going to take care of the full inspection. The truck will go into the dealership next week.
