Also if you installed a new shift motor it needs to be torqued correctly. Inproper torque on the mounting bolts can cause binding

Seems like you could either plug the motor into the harness and use the 4WD switch to line it up, but Humtech says you should be able to move the transfer case gears with a wrench to get it aligned. I never tried but he says it should move.

How do i go about moving the tranfer cast small shaft

Wich way is 4wd low or 4 wd hi. Conter clock wise or clock wise

Do the engine have to be runing

If i just use the switch with the unistall motor but plug in
Will this take care of the ajustment?

What i need is a prosedure. To guide me step by step

Don't plug in the motor and turn it with switch on dash if not installed. This can cause motor to over rotate and possibly damage it. If you had it bolted on the transfer case it was obviously aligined or it would not bolt on

You should be able to rotate the shaft with a wrench or vice grip, if it wont move there is an internal problem causing the no shift.

I did pull out the motor and and push the dash butons to see if move. Sorry Humtech i read your messege to late

Any way like i say i did test yhe motor and i get zero move. The motor is not respondong in anyway.

Since the motor is new and the switcj is also new. The only posibility I can think off the the module under the steeing whell.

Please advice

Basics: check fuses. Look for broken wires, loose plugs. Do you have the "service 4wd" message? And how long have you owned this truck? Can you post a video or your lights and dash when you try to activate the other positions?
