Scanner/Programer

you have two computers. One is the ECU( engine control module) and a BCM(body control module) Which one are you trying to reprogram?? The BCM can only be programmed through the dealership. The ECU can be reprogrammed through PCMofNC.com. I have also heard there is a hand held out there, but the handheld ones can not be programmed for motor modifications

Actually, none of the above.
It is the battery control module, a.k.a. generator control module, a small module you may find attached to the negative battery cable. It controls battery charge from alternator.
Part number is/are 25826405 ; 15902094; 25816746
Hope this link works:

Skeeter:
I disconnected the negative cable and put it in different positions, in order to have a better view of the module. As you can see, it is a 2 x 2.25 inch box attached to the negative battery cable. It is called "battery control module", or "generator control module".
Mine is just not working properly. When I start my h3, it goes to 15.50v and stay there for about 4 or 5 minutes; then it slowly goes down until it reaches 12.80v and stays there.
The module should regulate incoming voltage from alternator, and, when it works as it is expected, should keep voltage in a range from 13.5 (aprox.) to 14.5.

Somebody told me that H3 have two (2) regulators: One inside the alternator itself, and then this "generator control module" that, in my case, is a pain in the neck.
If you know of any "scanner" or "programmer" I can buy to program it, please tell me.

A TECH2 may be able to reprogram it.
IF you know that the Generator Battery Control Module is the issue wouldn't replacement vs. reprogramming a faulty unit be the wise thing to do? I have only known these to "go bad" when someone tired jumping and reversed the cables (positive to negative).
