I hope you have a freezer full of venison...If the hunters would do their task maybe we would not have to worrie so much about things like this...Dennis get you gun and leave the 2 cases of Molson for HB.

glad to hear no damage. I've been told to wear a bright orange vest when driving, my hunting friends say deer never come around with those on!

HAHAHA orange vest..good one...thank God deer aren't an issue here too much because that just isnt a good fashion color![:'(]We were living in VA several years ago when I hit my buck, (deputy came back and hauled him off by the way LOL - presumably made its way to someone's freezer) I put one of those little whistler thingamajigs (OK don't laugh cuz it seemed to work) attached to my front grill. I saw deer all the time and did not want to risk hitting another...oddly enough with the whistler thingy - they seemed to go in the opposite direction and I never had a problem again. OK so maybe it was simply the ole "lightning doesnt strike twice in the same place" kinda thing, but I swear it worked!

Not to tread on your joke but our company put the whistles on all of our busses and the number of deer hit this year was less then half of the previuos year. They really do work well. I put a set on Godzookie and I hope they deter the deer as well as they do on the busses...(fingers & nutscrossed)[X(]

Thanks Little Monster...(silly me) OK, so it was a funny joke even if at my expense - I LMAO too! But, what they hey? They are cheap, you can hardly see them, so if there is a slight chance they do deter...then why not chance it? I never had a problem again and I lived in an area where people were hitting them all the time. Get this, when I took my jeep in to the body shop after my mishap, there was an SUV (Explorer or something) who had hit one a couple days earlier...deer went thru the windshield and a large piece of his antler was still stuck in the passenger seat!! I swear to God!!

When I leave this concrete jungle, and go back to the countryside,I will put another one on again...silly me LOLOL
(Picturing a herd of deer bent over blowing my whistler and laughing their ***** off at me! LOL) [sm=hail.gif]
