Glad you are liking it.....and WELCOME.....

Just a few questions to see if you have fully acclimated yet:

Have you learned to properly pronounce Corsicana, Palestine, Decatur, Wichita Falls, San Antonio, Mexia, Waco, and Amarillo.
Have you had to switch from "heat" to "A/C" in the same day?
Have you learned that the true value of a parking space is not determined by the distance to the door, but by the availability of shade?
Are you no longer surprised to find movie rental, ammunition, and fish bait all in the same store?

Finally, have you heard this conversation yet?

"You wanna coke?"
"Yeah."
"What kind?"
Dr. Pepper.

What is the deal about Dr. Pepper!? Everyone here drinks the stuff!
Everything you said is so true. I've also been corrected a number of times on my pronouciation.
I now live in Victoria TX. Some guy at Home Depot asked me if I was from Cuero (sounds like Queero) a town north of me. I said to him... "What did you call me"? He said "Ya'll not from around here are ya".
I see a few H3's floating around Victoria. Anyone from around here??

Dr Pepper was God's gift to the South.

Dublin Dr Pepper (made with Imperial Pure Cane Sugar, not the stuff made with corn syrup) is my life's blood.

I actually have it drop shipped to my door from the other side of the state.

I believe there are a few other folks here on the forum from down your way.

( I wonder why more people don’t include a location in their profile)

To importkiller,
Where did you buy your tire cover? Haven't seen that model before. Hard cover?
Sorry about jumping in your thread crank.
Thanks.

Dr. Pepper is the only thing I drink... Relatives laugh when we come home to visit because we now have a semblance of a Texas drawl.... [sm=innoc.gif]
