Default Roof Rack Sizes

I have been told that the roof rails vary in distance from 2006 to 2008. Is this true or not? I was also told that the location of the MX / On Star Antenna varies from year to year. Is there any truth to this. Thanks for the input!

I thought so, I recently purchased a Plus One roof Rack system, the front and rear light bars and the two middle roof rack bars. I finally received half of the bars after two weeks, when I was told it would ship in a couple days. The bars were a different length that the roof. The bars were also to big in diameter to put in front of the Antenna (Like what was pictured) I was told by the company that Hummer changed these things from time to time. The guy argued with me for several minutes, then asked if I wanted to buy a Gobi roof rack from them!?? To replace this one that clearly would not fit a H3. I have never got a run around like the one I got from the Hummer Parts Club! I guarantee I wouldn't get it again!

I would double check the boxes and make sure its for a H3... I know they made that system for both H2 and H3s so could be they sent you the wrong one... We all know that GM is way to cheap to change the roof dimensions each year, that would be a major overhaul of the entire roof/body... they did change the rails in 08 I believe with different end pieces, but that was only the channels themselves not where they are located... I dont think it changed the mounting positions whatsoever and everything else still works...
