There is a service bulliten on the marker lites because of wind noise . they have a fix kit available and I am having it installed . my lites did'nt make noise when I first bought the truck but after a month it is terrible. if you just got these installed check with your dealer if the installation had the the kit included. I heard all lites sent to the dealers now come with the fix kit.

 

Great, thanks. I am glad my dealer was honest with me and there was an actual issue. Knowing now that GM has taken time to fix/replace the parts that caused the issue has me wanting to get them. I think I am going to do it after Xmas.

 

Where did u order this fix kit from ?? I am experiencing terrible wind noise, even @ low speeds and I'm ready to try anything to fix this. I live in Calgary, is this kit available for the North ??

Take it to the dealership. No charge. They will put the new one.

 

Do they have the same wind issue with the factory roof lights. ( driving lights not the marker lights )?

 

I've got the off raod lights and have not had any problems, I instaled them myself so i know there was no type of fix involved with these

 

Dam I dont got those I am jealous, I kind of like the h3 in red....

 

I can't tell a difference between mine that has them and the wife's that doesn't. Check with your dealer for the fix, shouldn't be any wind noise from the marker lights
