Default Roof light switch and wiring

I bought a factory off road H2 light bar the other day. I am in need of the wiring from the bar to power source and and the switch. I assume it's all one piece. The local Hummer dealer say you can't order that separately.

Or if anyone has the GM part # that would help too.

Thx

Hi if you can't buy one, just make your own harness with a relay and a switch. I just made one for my MC2 roof light bar with a remote fob so i can mount the switch any where in the truck. The pictures below will help you with running the wires inside the truck. Hope this helps. I also have the harness that came with my lightbar but it is abit different than a stock hummer because it plugs in at the light bar with 2 wires and a stock hummer uses 3 wires. The stock H2 light bar may use a bulb with high and low beam or they can turn 2 lights or 4 lights on at a time with the 3 position switch i am not sure, thats why it has 3 wires coming off the light bar. I wired mine up so when i turn it on all 4 lights come on.

Thanks for that. Hoping I can come up with a factory unit but that looks pretty grim due to the response so far.

Hi i did some more checking the factory light bar harness plugs into the same spot the trailer brake unit plugs into so you can't have them both plugged in at the same time. If you don't tow its not a problem but if you do then it is. Then you would have to make a stand alone harness. If you can't find one or someone to make one for you, i will make you one. If you test the light bar light ground the black wire then feed 12 volts to purple wire then feed 12 volts to the red wire and let me know which lights are on. How far are you from the border bridge?

I do have 2 small trailers with brakes. I haven't got the controller in place because the Suburban was handling the towing chores but I just sold it. I guess the factory harness isn't really worth searching too hard for. I will test the bar tomorrow and see what wires do what, am about 20 miles from either the Rainbow or Peace bridge. I really appreciate your offer, maybe can be hard wired to fuse panel under hood?

Hi Bob, send me your email and i will sent you a schematic diagram of where the wires go through the truck and where they are plugged in. Its not a wiring schematic.

Exclamation Factory H2 Roof Mount Light Bar Wiring Harness

I just got a Factory H2 Roof Mount Light Bar Wiring Harness from SAE-Auto off eBay. I don't know if they have any more of them. It was definitely worth the $50 including shipping. It includes the relay, hard to find plugs, fuses, switch, etc. The only thing is it is for a pre-2008 model, and mine is a 2008 model, so everything might not plug right up. Does anyone still have the wiring schematics or diagram for the factory wiring harness? Thanks.
