Hmmm. I have had 3 different sets (2 H3 / 1 H3T)and I only had to oblong 1 of the rails on one side so it didn't touch.

I would oblong them for at least a small gap. But that's me.

 

yeah im gonna have to adjust pretty much all of them to lower both sides. only way i see to stop the problem. not a project i was expecting.

 

well i think i got em on now without issue. passenger side wasnt too bad. just had to adjust two holes to get it to drop enough and get all bolts in.

driver side was another story. had to re****ulate four holes on that side and cut off a bracket on the frame that was a guide for the e brake cable. it was preventing me from getting any lower on the middle support. still not as much clearance on the middle and rear support as id like to see. only about a qurarter inch or so.

took it for a short drive and no more banging or vibes coming through. need a faster, rougher test run though. still think its gonna contact on those two...

its almost like the plates werent welded in the right place. the rear plates hung down a half inch or so below the frame before i had to lower it more. seems odd. the front mounts were the only two i didnt need to hog out the holes on. plus having to reform my front mudguards around the bars to be able to use them together wasnt expected either. kind of disappointing for the money spent. they do look nice though now that theyre on but that was alot more extra work than i was looking for.

maybe just weld em on in the future

 

I installed a set of these on my H3T last summer. Passenger side fit fine without issues. Driver side I had to test fit a few times, and create a little bit of clearance between the mounting faces of the sliders and other welded on frame brackets. I think one was for the parking brake cable. I could get bolts in the middle and at one end installed, but not the opposite end bolts. Grinding down the mounting face bracket created a little clearance to let the slider move around and I could get all of the bolts in. So, it took a little longer to fit and test fit by myself, but overall not too bad.

 

I remember mine bolted right in when I installed them in 2013, but there was a lot of popping as they “settled” with the body seams. Rocky Road confirmed it was normal and would last about 2 weeks with regular driving. Sure enough, they were right and all noises went away. Love mine, they've saved me more than once.

 

settled, lol. more like beat into submission. its alright i got em on there now. im just glad rocky road still offers things like this for the h3t. took a few pics today after a bath. shes a beaut:
