Default rock sliders sale

i noticed rocky road had a free shipping offer on their rock sliders. this is a pretty significant savings. especially since they raised the price last year a bit. enough to get me to go for it. i expect it might take a month or so since they seem to be made to order but i hope they come sooner.

Worth the wait. You will like the OffRoad protection they provide.
A great benefit of the Rocky Road over OEM is the added bar. It sticks out and pushes trees, stumps, rocks, etc. away from your doors. Works wonders for door dings in the parking lot too!

yeah ive been dragging my feet on it since i got my truck. short of having a local machinist make a set from scratch it seems to be the only worthwhile set to get out there

got em on today. had some clearance problems around the front mudflaps but i made it work. took it for a drive and noticed some random popping. i think maybe because its right on the pinch weld underneath. may have to slot the hole to lower it a few mm. ill let the bolts stretch and look at it again next week or so.

Retighten all of your body mounts first.

It will cause less flex in the body. Your pinch seams should be about 1/2" from the mounting bars. If not you may have to oblong the holes for a gap between the mounts and the body.
