Removing Drivers Side Door Trim/Panel

I just thought I would post an update.

I needed to remove my door panel so I could replace my side mirror. With the help of the diagrams and I purchased the door clip removal tool, this my have been the easiest repair I have ever done.

No Clips broken, everything came off as expected and went back together with no problems. Total time 30 minutes.

Thanks again for everyones help on this!!!

I can post a picture later tonight if needed.... I bought the tool from auto zone for $15 or something like that. It's call a "door trim removal tool". It looks like a pry bar with a head that looks like a flat wrench. If you go into an Auto Zone or any automotive store and just ask for it they should be able to direct you to it

I'd say this tool is a must have if you are doing this job.

... thanks. I found several at Advance Auto's website one of which is made of composite. That should be trim friendly. I will be doing a passenger mirror repair/replace soon.
