Hi Guys: I am looking for any help/guidance as I look to remove the inside trim/door panel from the drivers door of my 2008. I have to replace the mirror as the motor is going bad.

In doing a search I see many write-ups on removing 2007 and below, but none for 2008 and up. I am looking to see if anyone has any advise, input, or directions on how to do this right without breaking anything.

Any help is appreciated!!!

I have a 2008 and my door panel is a little different. Anyone here have any experience removing a panel from a 2008 and up? I should be able to use the instructions posted above as a guide, just looking for any guidance/input/things to watch out for on the new panels.

Just put in your make, model, and year and then a sub menu comes up so you can isolate more precisely what area of the H2 you want to see.

I copied all of my 07 H2 parts onto my flash drive so I can have pics like those when I need them.

Opening those door panels feel like your literally riping your rig to pieces. Door panels are my least favorite thing to work on for some reason. Buy some extra clips/push pins that secure the panel on, good odds your gonna break some, then you got some.

 

Ive had some decent luck using that special tool with the small "v" shape in the middle of it (the actual name of it escapes me) but if that tool can get a bite on it, it sure saves me from trying to force them out. The deeper ones are more challenging.

 

That tool does work.... and you seem to have a better chance to reuse them....

I double sided taped mine when i was done so that I could get rid of the rattle the dealer couldn;t fix when mine was under warranty...
