Redneck VFW lookin for 1st H2
Just looking for advice. Any particular thing I should avoid? I got a decent idea about what I'm looking for 60,000 to 110,000 miles-DVD system in headrest-sunroof. The high milage truck is right in my price range. I heard H2 motor can last 300k miles. Any truth to this claim? Any advice good or bad is welcome.
Thanks y'all

Hello and Welcome form MI! Thank you for your service!
I don't know a whole lot about the used H2 market but there are some here who know it well. I'm sure they will be along soon to give you more advice than you can shake a stick at!

I see you are quite a distance from NY, but you may want to touch base with my husband, Brian (Hummeron37s). We are actually selling our 2003 H2... Birch White, lifted, Gobi, dual ladders... 159K on the odometer (I think...), but the engine was replaced just over a year ago and everything else has pretty much been replaced or upgraded while we have owned it. Even if you don't want to consider purchasing our truck, he can certainly help you out with information... he's really well versed in these things.
The Hummer has 140k on the odometer but 27ish on engine. It is lifted and everything has been maintained, modded or upgraded. Here is a link to the for sale thread. I been contiplating selling for sometime but now it's a definite. Shipping is possible if interested.

I didnt know if you were still looking or not. I have an 03 H2 Black with 96,000 miles. Everything is stock, air ride with 3 rd row seat. Everything works, just time for something with better fuel mileage. 17,000.00
This is what Muddydawg75 said on the Thread https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/h...year-h2-25205/
I have more than one reason, so I will say...
1. More 6.0 engine parts to choose/pick from (aftermarket, and stock parts)
2. Dash *******.
3. More spare parts, interior changes were huge in 2008+.... older models stayed closer to each other, especially 2004-2007.
4. Older models are less "Escalade" and more badass. If I wanted Paddle shifters I'd buy a car with them.
