You really have to be on some serious tough trails to have a need for the rear lockers. I've got the std. version and my off roading experience has been awesome but not into hard core rock crawling and that's where the locker would shine. Granted you get 33" tires and slightly different shocks with the Adventure package but I'd bet 99% of the time the lockers are of no value. Question is are you in the 1-2% that can really use it?

Also, I think if you don't plan to change tires and are more worried about gas mileage then I'd say go for the stock tires (32's-non adventure)) when I have my stock wheels on I can get around 20MPG on the highway. I bought some 34's for off roading and my mileage went in the crapper but it looks great and off roads well with the big feet.

I wonder why the H3 doesn't have an option for front and rear lockers?

Regarding the backup camera, I added one on my H3, $100 @ target, I wired mine into my hitch harness so the camera is on when I shift into reverse. I have the LCD on my visor, works great!

That's like asking what colour is best. It's all a matter of personal prefs on the owners part. It's also a purpose driven issue, if you're going to off road then you need the adventure package, if not it's a waste of money. I don't like leather seats but couldn't get power seats in cloth [:@]. As for the trailer package, even if you don't plan on pulling a trailer now that doesn't mean you won't in 3 years. Get the trailer package now to save a world of hassles later. The H3 has two different rear bumpers, one with hitch, one without and the wiring is also different. Buy now, save later!
