Default Gobi rack light wiring

Hi everyone, Its been awhile since I posted. Looking for some info. I've done a search and haven't come up with anything. I've got a gobi stealth rack which I want to add lights to. Love the look of the 3 bulb PIAA that Ghostrider has !!!! Here's the questions..... 1. Anybodyhave pics of how to run the wires from the rack, into the roof channel to get them to the interior of the vehicle? From reading all your posts, I can easily remove the switch panel but that's about it. When it comes to mods I can do pretty much anything, just not really crazy about electrical, especially on the Hummer, seems like it can be bit touchy !!!! It looks like I need adapter harness from gm and switches, too. By the way, everybody here has been a huge wealth of knowledge, thanks !!!!!! As soon as I get lights installed will post pics, I think you guys will be impressed. Merry Christmas !!!!!

While I've not done lights on a roof rack, I did install marker lights myself. I never found any specific pics or guides but what I did was remove the roof liner from the interior. Once you do that you can see where to plan your hole(s) to drill. I will tell you that if you drill through the roof channel you mention there tends to be a lot of welds, and re-inforcing which makes running wires un-fun. Once you do that all you need do is run the wire to the windshield, and down the side pilar to fuse box.

Try a search for on here for "light bar", "XTC Light bar", or even "Marker Light", and there's a lot of info to read up on, and a few external links.

Its prety easy, you just tale off all the pices holding it up.
Sun visor (4 screws each)
rubber gasket around door (just pull it off)
Passenger side "oh ****" handle (two bolts unscrew 'em until it comes lose, there's gizmos that hold the bolt in the handle, if you unscrew to much the fall out and bounce off the driveway and in to the grass.......)
Dome light ( I think there is a screw under the lens... if there's not a screw, it just pulls out)
etc.
