Do not get the NAV... Buy an aftermarket so you can have bluetooth phone, dvd, run searches while driving, etc... They do not have an adaptor kit for the H3 (yet) My 2 cents

Are there any you bought that you could definitely do without?
I don't regret any of the options I got (none).

I would have liked the adventure package, but wasn't able to get one when I was buying without getting stuck with a slushbox. [:'(]

Igot the Base model with Lux pkg for the Leather seats and Monsoon sound. Ihave occasionto do some off-roading but it's mostly rough trails, not rock crawling. I felt I could do without the Adv. pkg. and get those tires later if needed.

Ifound my Lux with trailer pkg and no external chrome except for the front grill . . . justthe way I wanted it.

Ok You Have to get the adventure package! It sits higher and looks much better! Alpha of course! I had the factory navigation and pulled out and replaced it with a Eclipse, ( Ipod, Bluetooth and backup camera, etc.) So no need for the factory back up camera. The Monsoon and sunroof are a must have too!

Other night it was 19 degrees and it was nice to have the engine block heater I ordered for the morning ($57)- both for comfort and less engine wear. Other than the locking diff and better gear ratios of the Adventure package I could care less about chrome or bling -actually I do care less.To bad , and unlike Jeep, Hummer does not include an auto tranny cooler with its towing package - and I mean the external cooler that jeep fits in addition to the built-in radiator tranny cooler in front of the radiator. I think that Jeep cooler I had on my Grand Cherokee is the only reason the transmission was the only part that was not replaced.

The gear ratio is the same with or w/out the Adventure package. The final drive ratio actually ends up higher with the adventure package (due to the taller tires) whichmost would considera disadvantage.
