I was wondering if the Monsoon radio had the red and white inputs in the back. I don't want to replace the factory deck but I want to be able to have my iPhone hooked up to the car to listen to.

 

i use an FM transmitter with my Blackberry to play my mp3's. it works ok as long as you can find a station thats open with no interference. there's no AUX inputs behind the stereo to just plug into.

Gives you a direct connection to you iPhone and allows you to control it from the headunit. It also gives you the traditional red and white inputs (RCA's btw) if you wanted or needed to go that route.

Or, replace the headunit with an aftermarket model. I found it hard to justify 120 for an adapter when you can get an extremely nice double din unit with excellent ipod/iphone support and the items needed to install it for around $500.

 

I agree with this 100% that is alot of $$$ just to add Ipod support.

 

I really want to keep the factory deck though. Any suggestions that aren't more than $200 dollars? I'm kind of on a budget haha.
