I can hear the servo working but the handle will not open the rear hatch how do i get the door open so that ican work on this problem. this is an 06 H2.

 

i looked at the service manual and you would have to make sure the lock is trying to work ,, if it does i am ruling out an electrcal problem .
first try unlocking the rear hatch wial pulling and or pushing door in to see if the lock is jamed . if the door still will not open , the only way i saw on the parts brake down was from the inside to remove the inner pannel . if you can get to the bolts .from what i saw , the bottom tie downs at the bottom of the hatch have to be removed it also showed clips or bolts at the top ... good luck ...mike

 

Thanks for the reply mike it started working again so i'm thinking the seliniod is going bad or isn't working when it get hot here in AZ. i guess i will be down to the dealership for a new one soon.
