Several years ago my service 4 wheel drive popped up on my dash, and the rear diff lock switch started blinking. So I looked under the truck to find that the wires broke right on the rubber bushing. So I pulled out the bushing so I could fix the wires and in order to get the bushing out I had to break it apart. I used gasket sealer to clog the hole and after a while it manages to start to leak so I wanted to replace the rear diff coil but it seems to be discontinued. I looked into the E lockers but I can't afford it. The rear diff coil lock still works but without the rubber plug it's going to keep on leaking. I was thinking about taking off the diff cover and plugging the hole up from the inside. Any suggestions?
